StrongBox Linux 1.0 beta 13
Stability and Functionality Milestone
This release is a new version of StrongBox, with better stability, security
and functionality. Incorporating suggest from users and bug reports, this
release brings better useability to StrongBox.
New Features in this release:
Streamlined add-ons by adding in post vmount scripts
USB key authentication now using pam_usb *
Many bug fixes, and some better utilities on the console
Faster, more capable kernel based on the -ac patchset
Updated versions of all software
* Note: this is incompatible with the current USB authentication system. Please
use another method of authentication during upgrades.
StrongBox OS add-ons
Some StrongBox add-ons have been added or improved since the
previous release.
New Print add-on with CUPS
New Util add-on with minicom, syslinux, hostap and debootstrap
Ruby language add-on
Asterisk PBX now includes Mysql support
Text Based ethereal added to Monitor add-on
ImageMagick added to graphics add-on
Note regarding commercial/non-commercial versions of StrongBox
Commercial versions of StrongBox are no different from the non-commercial versions
in terms of the software that they contain. However, commercial versions do have the
following benefits:

Quick patches for reported software bugs
Money raised will help open source development
