With the non-commercial version of StrongBox, keys are quick and easy for anybody to obtain. While this is great for testing, for mission critical deployments this is far from ideal. While it is possible to rebuild the StrongBox cd with your own CA, you can also save yourself the time and trouble and purchase a commercial key. Or, if your organization already has its own CA, we can build a customized version of StrongBox pre-installed with your CA and hardware requirements.

A note on StrongBox keys

StrongBox uses a unique licensing system with its keys. Each key is valid for a single administrator, not a single server. There are no limits to how many servers you can use, or how many users can connect to each server. There are no limits to how many domains you can host. You just need one key for each administrator who will be using StrongBox. This is in stark contrast with other systems that make you pay ridiculous amounts per server and per user!

Licensing Options

StrongBox Small Business edition is the lowest cost option. Choose it if you're on a budget, and have some time to figure things out for yourself.

The Small Business Edition includes:

• A commercial key for StrongBox, valid for one year *

• Access to StrongBox iso images online

• Access to the forums (will be active in early January 2005)

StrongBox Business Edition is a good option for people who value their time and money. It includes a snazzy CD and booklet, a USB drive or SmartCard, and email support to get your StrongBox product up and working. If you value your time and money, and want to use StrongBox's secure servers in your environment.

The Business Edition includes:

• A commercial key for StrongBox, valid for one year *

• Access to StrongBox iso images online

• USB pen drive or smartcard for key storage

• Access to the forums (will be active in early January 2005)

• One month email support (or more **)

The StrongBox Enterprise Edition is the option for business who want to get up and running quickly. It includes high-level support by qualified individuals, to get your StrongBox servers up and running quickly and with a maximum of reliability.

With a purchase of StrongBox Enterprise edition, we will give your business everything it needs to get StrongBox running securely in your environment. This includes:

• A customized StrongBox CD for your orgainization
